I got a head start on our book club this past month. I checked out "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho. It is a fable about following your dreams. I have finished the book but I am still trying to decide if I liked it or not. On the books cover is written "Beneath this novel's compelling story and the shimmering elegance with which it's told, lies a bedrock of wisdom about following one's heart" I was able to glean a little wisdom from this book but for me it seemed a little long and drawn out. Maybe someone else will enjoy it more. I am looking forward to the next book. I think I will try the "Arthurian Omen!"
